Valerie Specht is a fashion journalist and stylist based in Munich. Since December 2023, she has been working in the fashion department at VOGUE Germany, where she writes articles for both online and print and also conceptualizes and styles fashion shoots. Prior to this, she worked as a freelancer for commercial clients and publications such as Monopol Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Numéro, with additional experience at Achtung and Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin.

She worked at Hearst for 11 years (the world’s largest lifestyle publisher that includes magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and ELLE) where she carried out various roles as International Fashion Manager, Fashion Editor and Stylist. She still freelances for ELLE magazine as a contributor and Fashion Stylist to this day.

In 2020 she launched her own fashion brand: ROOM717. She currently combines her position as Manager and Creative Director of her successful firm with strategic consulting and styling for high fashion and luxury brands.

Ana graduated in Law and Business Managent at Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville). She completed her studies at ESCE (École Superiéure de Commerce Exterieur) in Paris and later coursed several postgraduate programs at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She specialized in Art Direction for Fashion in London’s Central Saint Martins and continues to pursue her passion for fashion studies nowadays.
