AVANTGARDIAN CHILD
Avantgardian Child is the FW26–27 collection by SANNÀT exploring childhood as the foundation of identity and memory.
The collection draws from the designer’s personal archives and post-Soviet Moldovan visual heritage — approached not as political commentary, but as cultural language shaped by time and environment. Domestic textures, school uniforms, utilitarian garments, muted palettes and synthetic fabrics become material memory.
Raw, almost naive references are reinterpreted through avant-garde construction. Oversized silhouettes, displaced seams, accentuated shoulders and protective layering create tension between innocence and adulthood, vulnerability and strength.
Avantgardian Child reframes inherited visual codes through a contemporary lens. It is not nostalgia, but reconstruction — transforming personal history into an experimental yet wearable narrative.
