OK KINO is a Moldova-based womenswear brand. Through collections OK KINO try to combine the authenticity of native country with the contemporary fashion. Clean silhouettes, precise tailoring and delicate color palette is the base of each collection. Immersing into traditional Moldovan details is another important part of the brand. Exploring the national heritage, creative directors Darya Golneva and Denis Caunov carefully work with ethnic and cultural symbols and codes, reinterpreting them from a new minimalism perspective. At OK KINO we care about ethical attitudes towards the environment and production. Therefore, we create high quality garments made to last, using carefully selected fabrics.
CASA MARE
Casa Mare refers to the main room in a traditional Moldovan home, a space reserved for what is kept with care. For objects chosen once, meant to last, and brought out only on certain days. White becomes the starting point of the collection. A white that is not pristine, but lived with — like limewashed walls that slowly absorb time. It holds marks, light shadows, a sense of quiet aging. Light blue appears as a secondary note. Familiar and domestic, it recalls interiors touched with bluing — a color used to refresh white, to keep it bright, to slow down its fading. Together, white and blue speak of preservation rather than newness. The collection reflects a particular way of aging: not through wear, but through waiting. Like objects kept in Casa Mare, the pieces feel as though they have rested for years — folded, remembered, softened by time rather than use. This is a collection about care. About keeping things intact, not out of nostalgia, but out of belief that there will be a moment worth opening the door.
